JEAN ROSSMAN

My images are drawings, cast on a plate, etched or inscribed or created directly with an inked brush. The compositions are often clusters of colors, jumbles of lines seeking a balance. I want to capture a sense of energy and movement. In contrast, once in a while I seek to expose stillness or quietude. I find this more difficult to express. There are so many avenues in printmaking that I find myself dabbling in a variety of methods. I enjoy the exploring.
